Hi JP,
I’m following up on this morning’s PAC meeting about the possibility of presentation(s) at the off-campus PAC meeting in June. Specifically, I’d like to consult with because I intend to propose offering a presentation for parents, teachers, and/or administrators on How to Use Hip-Hop Culture to Methodically Engage Students in Learning Activities, based on my audience research that’s published in the book Young Black Women & HipHop Culture: Everywhere & Nowhere. A sample of the of its first 25 pages can be accessed at this link — https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/14cbc4b7a00505b4
Sometime in the next week, I’ll submit a more formal presentation proposal. In the meantime, this Friday, 4/17/15 at 9AM, you can also listen to an interview about the research and book on the WKKC, 89.3FM radio station’s program called FocusTalk hosted by Dennis Snipe, the station’s operations manager.
All in all, I believe your consultation services will be helpful. I look forward to talking with you about the possibilities.
Thanks,
Fatimah N. “DrHipHop” Muhammad
p.s. I really enjoyed this morning’s meeting’s food. It was delicious AND healthy. Whoever selected that vendor did good.
Hey JP! My sister informed me that you wanted to have me write a guest blog post for your website. Let me know what you need! Thanks!
